Just wanted to drop a line and let you guys know that Jim and I REALLY appreciate "In The Woods" as THE place in our area for relaxing and meeting new friends. It is such a relief when we get there from all the hubbub and drama of every day life and then to have a place that we can be relaxed and be ourselves is invaluable. We also would like to say a big thanks to all the guys on staff as you have been a great help in getting adjusted to the outdoors again. I thought I could never have such intelligent and fun conversations with folks at a campground. At the "str8" places, all they wanna do it complain about their spouses and have kids terrorizing the patrons, running , screaming and the like. Even though I have seen a few "screamers" there.... its nothing like then kids! Jim and I have been coming to "In The Woods" since April 2003 and have seen it transform from a scruffy, no vegetation place into a campground worthy of high praises. The pool has been wonderful, the clubhouse is comfortable and clean, the grounds are great and natural, and the sites are just secluded enough! Bravo and congratulations guys! You've made a little heaven in GA for the guys in SC and all over to come and have a good time with a minimum of hassle. David and Jim

Hey Tom - From the very first "Whoa! He's NAKED!" as you walked over to check us in, to the good-bye hug as we left, you were a big part of making our few days at In-The-Woods VERY enjoyable. Did anyone ever tell you that you're an "in-your-face" kind of guy? It's a good way to be. Since you don't hold anything back, you put me at ease right away. While I've wanted to visit a clothing-optional campsite for years, I was still nervous about actually stripping down: "Will people think my d**k is too small? Will they feel my gut is too big?" - Due to your frank talk about body image and the fact that it doesn't really matter WHAT anyone looks like, I was more comfortable than I'd ever imagined. This morning, while we were sitting on the back porch, Rich commented on how noisy it was: A/C units running, pool pumps, lawnmowers, etc - the absolute quiet is one thing that'll bring us back to In-The-Woods. The other thing that'll drive me back up there is looking forward to that total comfort that I felt with the sun and breeze on my [nude body] - and a complete lack of embarrassment in being that way! Our most enjoyable Thanksgiving ever! And I do mean that... Gregory and I felt that it was our best Thanksgiving holiday yet. To spend it with our family in Canon, was so special. That is how we look at that place... like it is home for us, and you and John and all the rest are our family. We enjoyed the murder party and especially enjoyed everyone at dinner. Wow, Tom, what a tribute to you and John. All that you do, it just draws folks, and I mean good folks to that place. As I am sure you are seeing, we are creating a foundation of "bedrock" folks for Canon. Ones that have deep down goodheartedness, and ones that you can count on when you need 'em. Yes, certainly, ones that can be trusted to be there for you when you need them. Wow, we are so lucky, Gregory and I, to have found you and to have become a small part of it all. As the years go by, my memory certainly will have a hard time keeping up with all the good times we have had there, but the feeling will NEVER go away about how we look upon our place in Canon. I wish I could describe coming home Sunday night late, I was already thinking about "Lord help me make it 'til Thursday nite, 'cause then everything will be ok again. and I can be me, and enjoy life, my friends, and whatever else comes our way there. " It is truly part of my life, being there with ya'll, and looking forward to being there with ya'll when we have to be away. Gregory and Mike P.S. I suspect this is the Role Model for what a campground should be - from the impeccable cleanliness, the subtle hint of creature comforts to the well maintained �wilderness� which still allows a genuine oneness with Nature (and other naturists).I'm spoiled now. I knew I'd miss the place as soon as I left - already last night I actually dreamt about �yall� (or �you lot" as we say back in Blighty.) Hopefully, now that I'm back in the harsh light of the real World, time will fly by till I can return. Tim e virtually comes to a standstill in the tranquility of the oasis In the Woods.(If you come for a long weekend you'll relax there for a week - each hour last 180 minutes!) The 3 day trip this last month proved to us a few things, most importantly, that this will be the best trip that we have made to any of the campgrounds. The friendliest most warm atmosphere with a genuine feeling of thanks and do come again soon, that we have encountered. Every one there, even other guest dropped by to extend the welcome. Everyone would drop by and extend their help in setting up and dismanteling. Smiles were everywhere.
